MY STORY
I’m Carissa Dwyer, the creative behind Carissa Jane Creative, based in Port Macquarie.
My background is in marketing, with more than 10 years’ experience working across retail, events, campaigns and customer experience.
Over the years, that has taken me from developing marketing campaigns and promotions to creating events, visual merchandising and retail styling, content creation and bringing larger creative projects to life.
I’ve always been particularly drawn to the visual side of marketing - how a space, display, event or campaign makes someone feel before they’ve read a single word. Visual merchandising and styling give me the opportunity to combine that creative instinct with my understanding of customers and business.
Carissa Jane Creative brings all of that experience together. I work with businesses that need a fresh perspective, an extra pair of experienced hands, or some creative and practical support.
That might mean refreshing a retail space, bringing an event together, or stepping into a marketing campaign or project that needs some help getting off the ground.
I work closely with clients to understand what they need and find an approach that works for their business.
My Approach
Every project starts with a conversation about your business, what you’re trying to achieve and where you need support.
Sometimes you might already know exactly what you need. Other times, you might simply have an idea, an opportunity or something that isn’t quite working and need another perspective to help work out what comes next.
From there, I can help shape the idea, develop a plan and provide the creative or practical support needed to bring it together.
Depending on the project, I can work independently, alongside your existing team, or coordinate with trusted local suppliers and creatives where additional expertise is needed.
Most importantly, I keep things flexible. You might need me for a few hours, a particular project or campaign, an event, or simply some experienced support when you need an extra pair of hands.
